The Vox is a Panamanian rock band with a unique style that sets them apart from the pack. Having released three albums since their formation in 1999, The Vox has produced a unique discography filled with a range of emotions.
Their debut album, Hysteria Queen, features a blend of Guns ‘n’ Roses, U2, and The Doors. Their next album, A World Upside Down, features a more theatrical rock sound than it’s predecessor, which introduces elements of Radiohead. The band took a drastic experimental turn with their music and their dedicated fans embraced the change. Their latest album, Underneath The Well, features a return to their hard rock roots. Their single “Morbid Beez” features addicting heavy riffs and irresistible melodies.
Having created a thriving rock scene in Panama, the band launched a festival, Istmo Rock Festival 2009, attracting worldwide sponsors and acts from neighboring countries. The band has played the Quito Fest in Equador and El Farolito in Costa Rica. Having played some of Central America and South America, The Vox hopes to capture the audiences of North America and Europe.

A civil engineer during the day and a rocker at night, Moyo has a passion for a thick thumping bass; his endless drive for keeping the rhythm section on the go is comparable to a train! He is also an emerging entrepreneur! Being the founder and organizer of Istmorock Fest and co-producer of Festival Verde 2010 & 2011, Moyo has opened the doors for The Vox to festivals such as QuitoFest and Farolito.

As his initiative is as loud as his rim shot, Pablo makes drumming seem easy to the naked eye. Being an Audio Engineer / Producer on the side, breaking down sections of a song and creating contrasts between them has been one of his many beautiful contributions to The Vox.
